The Dovekeepers is an American TV mini - series. It is based in Alice Hoffman’s historical novel about the Siege of Masada. The miniseries focuses on four Jewish women during the Siege of Masada by troops of the Roman Empire near the end of the First Jewish Roman War. Theirs lives intersect in a fight for survival at the siege of Masada.
