Mr. Finch is a mysterious billionaire, who develops the modern computer program. This computer program can predict a violent conspiracy which will happen somewhere in the future. But the program is still limited when it is unpredictable who are victims, perpetrators and witnesses and when and where the murder takes place. Despite knowing that innocent people will be killed, he could not prevent successive cases, Finch decides to hire Reese, who is a former CIA officer, is considered to be dead to help investigate the murders.
