Retired police officer Kevin is trying to find his footing on a fresh career path while taking on the demands of life as a newly single dad. His kids appreciate how hard he works to make sure they are okay, but they also think he needs to get out of the house. To help, they turn to Vanessa, his former police partner, as Kevin discovers that home can be tougher than the streets.
