Widow's Walk

After her husband is killed in Afghanistan, Eve takes her young son to a beach house in Suffolk, on the edge of the North Sea, to grieve away from the life they have lost. The quiet refuge soon proves less empty than it first seems. Someone else is in the house, mourning a loss of her own from another war, and Eve’s private sorrow becomes entwined with a grief that has lingered there before her.
