Wake in Fright

Directed by Ted Kotcheff, this drama thriller follows John Grant, a bonded teacher who arrives in the rough outback mining town of Bundanyabba, planning to stay overnight before catching the plane to Sydney. But, on this one hot night in Bundanyabba, Grant decides to go into a smoky, crowded pub, which may be the worst mistake in his life.
