The Stanford Prison Experiment

In 1971, Stanford professor Philip Zimbardo selects twenty-four male college students for a psychology experiment in a mock prison built in the basement of the university’s psychology building. Randomly assigned to act as prisoners or guards, the participants are meant to simulate prison life, but the controlled study soon begins to spiral beyond its original design. Based on a true story.
