The American Society of Magical Negroes

Aren, a young man, is drawn into a hidden organization known as the American Society of Magical Negroes. Its members are magical Black people who devote themselves to what they treat as an urgent mission: making life easier for white people. As Aren is recruited into their secret world, he is introduced to a strange purpose built around comfort, service, and carefully managed expectations.
