Splinter

Splinter is a 2008 American horror film directed by Toby Wilkins. The film opens on a sleepy gas station, where the slack-jawed pump attendant (Charles Baker) is attacked by a seemingly rabid animal. It transforms its still living victims into deadly hosts. A young couple and an escaped convict must find a way to work together to survive from this primal terror.
