In post-9/11 New York City, an eclectic group of residents move through tangled personal, romantic, and sexual lives. Their paths converge at Shortbus, an underground Brooklyn salon known for bringing together art, music, politics, and carnality, creating a charged space where private desires and public expression overlap.
