No Good Deed is a 2002 crime thriller film based on the short story “The House on Turk Street” by mystery author Dashiell Hammett. It tells the story of a police detective stumbling upon a bizarre band of criminals about to pull off a bank robbery while he does a friend a favor and searching for a runaway teenager.
