In 1920s Hollywood, a new tribe of Minions stumbles onto a film set and becomes unlikely silent-movie stars. When the arrival of talking pictures leaves them out of work, James and Henry break from the group to make their own monster movie. Using a spellbook from a former evil boss, they summon real creatures for the cast, only to create chaos that forces the Minions to work together to save the world.
