A disgraced former cop retreats to the woods in search of a quieter life, leaving his past and the pressures of the job behind. His solitude is disrupted when a private eye tracks him down with a new case: the murder of an eccentric TV star’s wife. Drawn back into investigation, he must leave his self-imposed isolation and face the kind of trouble he tried to escape.
