In 1999, a group of friends in their final year at an Ivy League college try to hold together their troubled crew team. As tensions and uncertainty shape their last season, everything shifts when an army veteran steps in as coach. His arrival challenges the teammates on and off the water, forcing them to confront what their sport, their friendships and their future mean.
