Gold Diggers of 1933

During the Depression, Broadway’s theaters go dark and every show is forced to close, leaving three showgirls with few options and a production they are determined to save. Desperate to keep their show alive, the trio hatches a plan to get money from a wealthy high society man they find repugnant, turning survival into a risky scheme built on charm, nerve and necessity.
