Overview
After the sudden death of her mother, 17-year-old Coley moves to rural Oregon and tries to find her footing with an estranged father and a life she never chose. Over one sunlit summer, she meets Sonya, a popular girl with an on-and-off boyfriend, and their growing bond awakens feelings neither of them fully knows how to face. As grief, self-doubt, and uncertainty get in the way, Coley and Sonya begin to understand what it means to accept themselves.
