Crimson Peak

Written and directed by Guillermo del Toro, this drama horror is set around 1900s, in Buffalo, New York, where a cloistered young writer, Edith Cushing, is swept off her feet by Thomas Spence, a suave English nobleman who’s there on business. Her father disapproves, but after his suspiciously sudden death, Edith marries Thomas and moves to a house atop a mountain of blood-red clay - a place filled with secrets that will haunt her forever.
