Ester and her overbearing mother operate a small bed-and-breakfast near the U.S.-Mexico border, where their quiet routine is disrupted by the arrival of two dangerous, unwanted guests. As the men threaten the safety of everyone inside, the tense situation exposes another risk: the women are hiding a secret of their own, and it may be more dangerous than the threat at their door.
