Charade

Back from winter sports, Reggie Lambert, divorcing, finds his Paris apartment upside down and learns the death of her husband. The inspector Grandpierre explains that her husband had embezzled during the war a nest egg for the French Resistance. His former accomplices had probably shoot him, seeing that he only wanted to take advantage of the treasure. Suspected by the latter, Reggie does not know where to turn .
